Water Clock at Leggiana
On the
street near the church at Leggiana, you can see a water clock. The water, coming from the house in front, activates the mechanism.
The clock
has been restored in 2002. We find a similar watch in Rome at Villa Borghese , near the Pincio terrace. On the
watch there is written:
”The person who is looking
at the clock, does not realise that death is near”
And under this sentence there is written:
“The water activates my mechanism
to give pleasure to the people passing by”
